Nicole Galli is part litigator, part entrepreneur, but 100% dedicated to helping women in the legal space pursue their own entrepreneurial success. A few years ago, Nicole left Big Law to start up her solo practice. A self-proclaimed "joiner", Nicole went out looking for an organization she could turn to during her transition and when she didn’t find one that met her needs she decided to start Women Owned Law.  Women Owned Law provides resources and networking opportunities for women in the legal industry.

What you’ll learn:

  • About Nicole’s transition from Big Law to solo practice
  • How Nicole went "entrepreneurial light"
  • Her thoughts on the “right” time to go out on your own
  • The importance of mentor/mentee relationships
  • Her thoughts on gender roles within the legal world
  • The challenges she faced when starting her own firm
  • The different challenges women and men might face when starting their own firms
  • The importance of checking in with yourself and making choices in order to live a happy life
  • How to get involved with Women Owned Law and what's coming down the pipeline for the organization
